There was a program on the Diane Rehm Show today about the exhibition coming to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D. C., in April 2002 -- Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years-Selections from the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum. The exhibit features 80 original costumes and accessories worn by Jackie. This is the beginning of my weblog. I am reading How the Scots Invented the Modern World by Arthur Herman. According to the author the Scots invented modernism.I am only in chapter 2. I just went through the battle to ratify the unification of England and Scotland in 1707-1708. The Scots didn't want to do it but they didn't have much choice.
